RECREATIONAL TUMBLING CLASSES
Pee Wee Tumbling and Cheer:
This class is for ages 3-5. The primary focus will be on front rolls, back rolls, straddle rolls, cartwheels, round offs, back bends, and back handsprings on trampoline. Once a student has accomplished a good cartwheel and round off they may enroll in Level I Tumbling and Cheer.
Level I Tumbling and Cheer:
This class will focus primarily on Cartwheels, Round-offs, and Standing Back-handsprings. Toe touches, double toe touches and pike jumps will be covered.
Level II Tumbling and Cheer:
This class is strictly for students who can do a standing backhandspring or round off backhandspring on their own consistently (i.e. without a spot). THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS—IF A STUDENT DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY HAVE A BACKHANDSPRING BY HIM OR HERSELF, HE/SHE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE LEVEL II CLASS.
The focus of this class will be to attain a quality series of back handsprings, back hand-spring back tucks, front handspring step outs, standing back tucks, and straight back flips on the trampoline. Multiple toe touches, variations of toe touch back handsprings, and variations of front hurdlers and pike jumps will be covered.
Level III Tumbling and Cheer:
This class is strictly for students who can do a standing back-tuck or round off backhandspring back tuck consistently on their own (or more advanced skills). THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS—IF A STUDENT DOES NOT CONSISTENTLY HAVE A STANDING BACK-TUCK OR ROUND OFF BACKHANDSPRING BACK-TUCK BY HIM OR HERSELF, HE/SHE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE LEVEL III CLASS.
The focus of this class will be to attain a full twisting back flip on trampoline and progress to the hard mat. It will also focus on attaining whip back flips, bounding back flips, punch front step outs, double full twisting back flips on trampoline. Multiple toe touches, variations of toe touch back-tucks, and variations of front hurdlers and pike jumps will be covered.
